Diane Cooper

Diane is the first smiley face you will see when you come along to SalsaShine. She will be there to greet you at the door. She began dancing from a very young age and attended Latin & Ballroom classes’ where she completed all of her medal tests with commended and highly commended results. She took a break from dance to concentrate on bringing up her children and came back to partner dancing 8 years ago when she found the dance of Salsa. She will be happy to freestyle at all levels on a Thursday evening.

Di Evans

Diane has been Salsa Dancing for about two years and Kizomba Dancing since June 2010. She designs the website, logo's and promotional material for SalsaShine, and sometimes assists beginners. She also manages the mini bar on Thursday nights. Although she is still learning many salsa moves, Di will be on hand to freestyle on the dance floor.

Linda Mackie

Linda has been dancing many years and is happy to freestyle at all levels.

Ray Mackie

Ray has only been dancing a short while and will be on hand to freestyle with our beginners or intermediaries most Thursday nights.

Gary Oliver

Gary Oliver has been dancing around 5 years and begun simply because of his love of music. He is a professional singer and often sings at SalsaShine parties. He has recently become a Kizomba instructor for his own club and is happy to freestyle at all levels in Salsa and Kizomba and Bachata.

Yvonne Knights

Yvonne has been dancing salsa for many years and you will see her assisting Sharon during her class demonstrating the ladies foot patterns. She is more than happy to freestyle at all levels.

Kevin Weller

Kevin has been dancing for 6 years. The first two years he spent learning ballroom and the rest salsa dancing. Kevin also works as a DJ and often helps out on a Thursday night with the music. He is a valued member of the SalsaShine team and will happily freesyle at all levels.

Lee Joseph

Lee has been in love with salsa for many years and has travelled abroad in search of perfection of the dance and its music. All you have to do is watch Lee on the dance floor to see that he has a good understanding of musicality and having studied with some of the Greats within the UK and abroad, this comes as no surprise. Lee is an excellent teacher and from time to time you will find him teaching for us.

However, Lee is fast becoming one of the most sort after Dj's around and you will see him Dj'ing at many salsa venues. Due to his other commitments Lee isn't with us every week but when he is, be sure to grab him for a dance.

Ian

Ian has been with us from the very beginning. He is an enthusiasitc dancer, very encouraging to our lower level ladies and is famous for his lovely smile. He will be happy to freestyle at improver/intermediary level.

Karen Patmore

Karen is an advanced dancer and a valued member of the team. She will be found helping Gerry each week during his class by demonstrating the ladies foot patterns. She is also always on standby to teach our beginners class when needed. Karen is very caring and helpful so please do not hesitate to ask her to dance or for any help during your evening with us.

Terry Bagley

Terry has been dancing for serveral years and will be more than happy to freestyle with all levels......So, ladies make sure you catch him before home time!

Debra Joyce-Brown

Debbie has a real passion for dance which started as a child when she attended latin and ballroom classes. She will be more than happy to dance free style at all levels and will always be especially encouraging to our lower level dancers.
